GENERAL INFORMATION
The Nowata ProGuard Filtration "1NB" Series Quick Change, High Pressure, Single Cartridge Filter Housings are available in 1, 2, or 3 size cartridge models, with a single cartridge being 10" in length. These low cost, high quality filters are designed for industrial and commercial service and are ideal for many high pressure (working pressure to 750 PSI) glycol, amine, water, industrial chemical and corrosive applications. The head mounts directly in the flow line and the filter may be mounted in any position. Fluid enters one side of the head, marked "IN", and is channeled to the area around the cartridges. The fluid or gas passes through the cartridges into the center and out the other side of the head, marked "OUT". The body is sealed to the head by a V-clamp. The V-clamp closure eliminates the need for wrenches or tools. As the V-clamp is tightened, the body and cartridge are firmly sealed against the head and o-ring. When changing the cartridge, the pressure is released before the head is removed, by loosening the V-clamp closure. Each model has, as standard, a 1/4" internal pipe thread drain in the bottom of the body.

  • Housing comes with one,  25 Micron, Nowata NP Series Cartridge installed.
  • The Standard V-Clamp style closure eliminates the need for wrenches or tools.
  • 1" FNPT inlet and outlet connections allow maximum flow ratings at a low pressure drop.
