Nowata Filtration Gas Filter Housings work to remove liquids and dirt from many gas applications including, polyethylene, benzene, methane, methanol, ethene, ethyne, propane, hydrogen, nitrogen and hydrocarbons, just to name a few.


Standard Materials used in construction include:
316 Stainless Steel, 304 Stainless Steel, & Carbon Steel.

Exotic Materials include:
Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel, Copper, Nickel, 5-Chrome, and
9-Chrome.

DRY GAS FILTER VESSELS  -  GD SERIES (Vertical) + GZ SERIES (Horizontal)
 
Dry Gas Filter Housing - High Flow
Removes particulate contamination from dry gas including dust, dirt, sand and pipe scale.

Standard Cartridge for this Housing:  The Nowata NFG12 , NFG24 ,
NFG36 or NFG336 Series forward flow gas cartridges with 1 or 0.5 micron ratings.
 
 
  • Vertical and Horizontal Vessel Configurations Available
  • High Flow Rate at Low Differential Pressure
  • Single Stage Filtration

FILTER / SEPARATOR - FORWARD FLOW, WET GAS FILTER HOUSINGS 
 -  GW SERIES (Vertical)  +  GE SERIES (Horizontal)

Filter / Separator Housings - Gas & Liquid Filtration
Forward Flow, Wet Gas Filter / Separator - Removes particles of dust, dirt, sand and pipe scale plus liquids including water, natural gas liquids, and light hydrocarbons.

Standard Cartridge for this Housing: NFG36 or NFG336 forward flow gas cartridges.
 
 
  • Includes two-stage construction with cartridges and mist eliminator.
  • Horizontal units offer separate individual lower sump for liquids collection.
  • Optional custom instrumentation and automation.

COALESCER GAS FILTER HOUSINGS  -  GR SERIES

Coalescer Housing - Gas Coalescing Filter - liquid removal
Removes compressor oil, trace hydrocarbons and water. Not intended to remove particles or large amounts of water.

Standard Cartridge for this Housing: High-efficiency, absolute rated, 0.1 to 0.3 micron NFF36 or NFF336 reverse flow coalescer filter cartridges.
 
 
  • Configured vertically regardless of flow rate to utilize gravitational liquid removal benefits.
  • Automation available for monitoring and dumping collected liquids.

GAS SCRUBBER (with Mist Eliminator) for COARSE LIQUID REMOVAL
  - GSX SERIES (Vertical)  +  GJX SERIES (Horizontal)   

Nowata Gas Scrubber - moisture removal
Removes liquids from gas streams. Not intended to remove particles or aerosols.

The Mist Eliminator in this housing eliminates the need for disposable filter cartridges.
 
 
  • Mesh and Vane types are available.
  • Automation available for monitoring and dumping collected liquids.
  • Many different customizable options & configurations are available.

 High Pressure CNG Filter Gas Housing
The Nowata Filtration FUELGUARD™ CNG filters are used with compressors, fueling stations, and engines, plus they help to safeguard the environment.

 The Nowata FUELGUARD™ filter is ASME code design and is rated to 6000 PSI pressure. If protecting equipment and the environment are important to you, make sure to have a Nowata FUELGUARD™ filter on the job.
